Spend 4 nights at the luxurious Kapama River Lodge, with 2 daily game drives and its well known bush spa. From here, fly down to Cape Town, where you’ll spend 4 nights at the peaceful and comfortable Walden House. After discovering the city and its surrounds, drive out to the famous Cape Winelands, with 2 nights at Spier Wine Estate and plenty of wine tasting.

The Trip in Detail

Day 1-5 Kapama River Lodge/Kapama Game Reserve
Your South African holiday will start with 4 nights in the bush at Kapama River Lodge. Days’ activities at Kapama start with a morning game drive, coffee and tea. After a 3 hour drive, including snacks, you’ll return to the lodge for a full breakfast. Spend the rest of the morning relaxing at the lodge, enjoy lunch and afternoon tea, before setting off on your evening game drive with sundowners.
Kapama’s rates also include a bush walk, the ideal way to spot smaller species and learn more about the reserve’s flora. The reserve also offers elephant interactions, hot air ballooning, visits to the Hoedspruit Center for Endangered Species and more.

Day 5-9 Walden House/Cape Town
Spend your next 4 nights in the beautiful city of Cape Town. Walden House is located in the Tamboerskloof suburb, against the slopes of Signal Hill, and in walking distance of a number of great restaurants and the vibrant city center.
There are a number of unmissable sights in the mother city, including a trip up Table Mountain (for unmatched views of the city and bay), the beaches of Camps Bay and Clifton, the V&A Waterfront, Cape Point, Kalk Bay and Simonstown, and the city center with the Company’s Gardens and bustling side streets.

Day 9-11 Spier Hotel/Stellenbosch
Finish your holiday in the beautiful Cape Winelands, at Spier Hotel. Spier is perfectly placed for any stay in the winelands – close to the multitude of wineries, and the historic towns of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.
Spend your time in the Winelands discovering the area’s beautiful wine estates, exploring the cafes and history of the towns of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek and enjoying on-site wine tastings and relaxing afternoons by the pool. With over one hundred wineries in the area, and a great variety of activities to choose from (including bicycle tours and horse back riding tours), there is no chance of being bored during your final 2 nights in South Africa.
