A closer look at what your holiday could be.
Day 1-5 Rhulani/Madikwe Game Reserve
Upon arrival in Johannesburg you will be picked up at airport and transfered to the first stop on your honeymoon adventure.
Madikwe is a spectacular malaria-free reserve in South Africa’s north west province, boasting the Big 5 as well as numerous other species. Enjoy twice daily game drives, walks and guided stargazing in this lesser known and beautiful area of South Africa.
Spend 4 nights exploring the reserve from the romantic and private Rhulani Safari Lodge. Perfect for couples, Rhulani’s chalets each have their own plunge pool and private dinners can be arranged on couples’ own chalet decks. Massages and spa treatments can also be done in the privacy of guests’ chalets. This bush escape is the perfect start to an unforgettable honeymoon.
Amazing safari in a malaria free game reserve.
Romantic accommodation with private plunge pools.

Day 5-9 Clarendon Bantry Bay/Cape Town
After your bush escape, fly down to continue your vacation with 4 nights in beautiful Cape Town. The Clarendon Bantry Bay boasts one of the best views in the city – lying on the flanks of Lion’s Head with unrestricted views of the vast Atlantic and beautiful palm-lined Camps Bay.
Explore Cape Town from the upper deck of the city’s great sightseeing buses, starting at the V&A Waterfront and making your way through the city, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, World of Birds, Mariner’s Wharf, Constantia wine region and more.
It’s also worth strolling through the Company’s Garden and Long Street with its quirky arcades, bookstores, cafes and of course Greenmarket Square. Within minutes from Bantry Bay is the cable station at Table Mountain, one of the best spots from which to view the city and bay. Also be sure to spend an afternoon or evening on Camps Bay for sundowners.

Great location in Cape Town.
Luxurious and romantic.
Day 9-11 Majeka House/Stellenbosch
From Cape Town, drive 30-40 minutes into the beautiful Winelands region for 2 nights at romantic boutique hotel Majeka House. Majeka is located on the outskirts of Stellenbosch, a central historical town in wine country. Between exploring the Winelands, it is also recommended to take a morning walking down the oak-lined streets, attractive university campus and cafe culture.
The Winelands are a great addition to any honeymoon in South Africa, with acres of wine estates featuring oak-shaded lawns, fantastic restaurants and remarkable views. In the Stellenbosch area alone there are over 100 farms boasting award winning wines. Be sure to visit estates like Jordan, Rust en Vrede, Tokara, De Zalze, Waterford, Rustenberg and Muratie. Drive over the Helshoogte Pass to Franschhoek, about 20 minutes away. This historic French town has great sidewalk cafes and well known estates including La Motte, Grande Provence, Haute Cabriere and Leopard’s Leap.

Day 11-13 Harbour House/Hermanus

Harbour House is an ideal spot from which to enjoy land-based whale watching. It’s location on the forefront of the main square gives it unrestricted views across the bay, and its pool is glass-fronted, allowing guests to watch whales while relaxing in the cool water. Hermanus has plenty to offer in the way of great restaurants, quaint bookshops, markets and art galleries. The adventurous can take sea kayaking trips, drive to Gansbaai for shark cage diving, do some hiking and even quad biking.
