Queen Victoria Hotel
The Queen Victoria Hotel is a 5 star boutique hotel located centrally at the V&A Waterfront. Its modern, white marble lobby with black marble ceiling in the entranceway is distinctly oriental. The white curved staircase adds a majestic feel to the hotel lobby. The glass ceiling allows plenty of natural light, making this relatively small hotel feel large and airy.
Staying in the Waterfront also puts visitors close to Cape Town’s many attractions. From the Queen Victoria Hotel it is quick and easy to get to the city bowl and Table Mountain as well as theCape Town’s many beaches and other attractions.
“If you are looking for a private and tranquil boutique hotel in the V&A Waterfront then look no further then the lovely Queen Victoria Hotel."
Staying at the Queen Victoria Hotel
The hotel is peaceful, despite being extremely central and walking distance from waterfront and all its attractions. It has 3 suites – Executive, Mountain Junior and Presidential suites – and 32 rooms, divided into deluxe and premium.
The monochromatic rooms feature beautiful views of either Table Mountain or the waterfront. The slight variations of light and dark wood, purples and greys in the mostly cohesive decor gives this boutique hotel an individuality and personality that larger hotel chains often lack. Monochromatic portraits of Queen Victoria can be found in many of the rooms, and all the art in the public areas of the hotel are for sale. Bathrooms are spacious and modern, and the ground floor has a large and comfortable assisted disabled room.
Both Dash and OYO restaurants are accessible to guests of all three sister hotels (QV, Victoria & Alfred and Dock House). Guests at Queen Victoria also have access to the beautiful Sanctuary Spa located a few meters away on the Dock House property. The spa boasts a range of relaxing treatments and excellent therapists. There is also a gym on site, and a fantastic pool lawn.
